UK Requirements: For gas work — Gas Safe registration is legally mandatory. For electrical work in properties — Part P certification (NICEIC/NAPIT registered) is required. Public liability insurance is strongly recommended (minimum £1m cover). No work should be carried out without the appropriate licences and certifications.
Branding: If the landlord or agency has enabled branding, you’ll see their logo and business name on job emails, invoices, and PDF reports you receive.

The platform routes maintenance work using the current vendor assignment rules:

  1. Property lock comes first: if a property is locked to a vendor, that vendor is prioritised.
  2. Service category fit comes next: you must offer the right service for the job.
  3. Priority routing can then adjust order: postcode/category rules can move certain vendors ahead.
  4. Location and radius support eligibility: your postcode, coordinates, and service radius help the system apply coverage and strict-radius checks.
  5. Capacity and ranking matter after that: workload, response profile, reliability, and related signals help order the eligible pool.
Radius Control (Critical for Assignment Quality)

In your vendor profile, open Job Pool Radius Preferences and configure these settings carefully:

  • Enable strict radius matching: Only jobs inside your configured service radius will appear in your pool and auto-routing.
  • Choose distance unit: Set display to Miles or Kilometers based on how you price and travel.
  • Keep service category radius updated: Each service category has its own radius limit and directly affects what jobs you receive.
Business impact: A tighter radius gives fewer but better-fit jobs. A wider radius gives more volume but can increase travel time and missed SLA risk.

Q: Is there a registration fee or membership charge?

A: No. Joining BravoHomesUK as a vendor is completely free — there is no registration fee and no monthly membership charge. We deduct a 12% platform fee from each completed job invoice to cover payment processing and platform costs. That’s the only cost.

Q: Can I work in multiple locations?

A: Yes! List all areas where you provide services. You'll only receive jobs from those locations.

Q: What if I get a bad review?

A: You can respond to reviews professionally. Focus on resolving issues and maintaining high quality on future jobs. One bad review won't significantly impact your trust score if you have many positive reviews.

Q: Can I decline job offers?

A: Yes, but excessive declines may affect your visibility. Only accept jobs you can realistically complete.

Q: How do I increase my trust score?

A: 1) Upload all verification documents, 2) Verify LinkedIn profile, 3) Complete jobs professionally, 4) Earn 5-star reviews.

Q: What if my application is rejected?

A: You'll receive an email explaining the reason. You can reapply after 30 days with updated documentation.

Q: Can I update my rates?

A: Yes, you can update your hourly/fixed rates anytime from your vendor dashboard.

Q: What happens in case of disputes?

A: BravoHomesUK mediates disputes between vendors and clients. We review evidence from both parties and make fair decisions.

Q: What certifications do I need?

A: This depends on your trade. Gas engineers must be Gas Safe registered — this is a legal requirement under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. It is a criminal offence to carry out gas work without registration. Electricians carrying out domestic electrical installation work in England must be registered with a competent person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT, or ELECSA). Public liability insurance (minimum £1m) is not legally required but is expected by landlords and agents. Some councils require DBS checks for vendors working in properties with vulnerable tenants.
